How is your Traxo Travel Score™ Calculated?

The Traxo Travel Score is computed using more then a dozen travel variables. The patent pending algorithm was developed by a team with over a century's worth of travel experience.

Travel Score ExampleIt is based on four primary factors

  • Coverage: total unique states and countries visited
  • Distance: total miles traveled
  • Duration: total days traveled
  • Accounts: total travel loyalty status achieved

Traxo adjusts your score based on two additional factors

  • Verification: Trips verified by Traxo are worth more
  • Recency: Recent trips carry more weight

Your Traxo Travel Score will be automatically updated every time you travel.

How can you improve your Traxo Travel Score™?

There are a number of easy ways to improve your score:

  1. Link additional travel accounts to Traxo. You'll get a higher score for having more accounts. Traxo's technology automatically pulls in your past and future trips from your air, car, hotel and agency travel accounts and travel and check in services. Travel Score Example

We'll be constantly adding new accounts let us know which site you want!

In order to be fair to everyone, when we pull in your past trips, we only pull in the information that is available on the website. This means we do not capture your entire travel history with that airline and can result in a discrepancy between the miles you’ve flown and the miles we record on our website. For example, if you have been with an airline for 10 years and flown 100,000 miles with them over that time, however in the past year you’ve only flown 10,000 miles then Traxo will only reflect 10,000 miles. If you would like to receive credit for all your trips, then you will have to manually enter the balance of the trips that are not on Traxo.

Score TiersTravel Score Example

  • Traxo maps your Traxo Travel Score to one of ten tiers . Being a "Conquistador" means you are in the top, most elite tier. Less than 1% of all travelers qualify to be a Conquistador.
  • An average Conquistador traveler (100-90) has been to 13 countries, 12 states, belongs to 7 travel accounts and has flown 130K miles and spent 150 days on the road last year.
  • An average Jetsetter traveler (89-80) has been to 6 countries, 9 states, belongs to 6 travel accounts and has flown 65K miles and spent 70 days on the road last year.
  • An average Discoverer traveler (59-50) has traveled to 1 country, 2 states, belongs to 4 travel accounts and has flown 8K miles and spent 10 days on the road last year.
