Our story

Traxo originated from a whitepaper written by three classmates at Harvard Business School as a solution to automatically detect overlaps in travel plans amongst friends. Led by CEO Andres Fabris, and supported by co-founder Andy Chen, technologist Richard Pendergast, and CTO Chris Stevens, this concept of “assisted serendipity” launched as a uniquely adaptable and scalable travel data capture and itinerary consumer service in 2008.

Today, that same technology for detecting, parsing, standardizing, and sorting travel bookings into intelligent itineraries remains the core of the Traxo solution that serves leading names in the travel industry, including American Express Global Business Travel, United Airlines, Lufthansa, EasyJet, TripAdvisor, International SOS, Crisis24, Fox World Travel, Advantage Travel, Coupa, Emburse, Abacus and more.

Traxo has raised more than $15M from notable investors such as Advantage Capital Partners, Thayer Ventures, Silver Creek Ventures, TripAdvisor, Aristos Ventures, and the Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC). Together with its investors and strategic partners across the travel industry, Traxo is unlocking booking data for corporate travel programs to enable accurate expense reporting, enhanced traveler safety, optimized travel spend, and program compliance.
